Police appeal for witnesses to Carlisle assault

carlisle-attack-mouth-injury[P]olice are appealing for witnesses to an assault which occurred in Carlisle.

Officers were called to at 00.42am on December 18th to reports of an assault in Bambu, Botchergate.

An 18-year-old woman suffered facial injuries after having had a glass thrown at her. She was taken by ambulance to the Cumberland Infirmary.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward and contact PC Gibson on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
