Appeal after Carlisle man racially abused

[P]olice are investigating an incident of verbal abuse against a 43-year-old man from Carlisle, where racial comments have been used.

The incident occurred on Tuesday December 27th at approximately 5pm, outside an address on St Johns Court, Carlisle.

The offender has been described as a white male, 17-18years old, approximately 5’3″, stocky build, fair hair which is very short on the sides and slightly longer on top with small freckles on his face.

He was wearing a light grey hooded top, light grey jogging bottoms and Nike trainers.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward, reference log number 186 of 28/12/2016.
