Two trapped in Brampton crash

[A]t 9:07am yesterday, Monday 2 January one fire engine from Brampton and one fire engine from Carlisle East attended a report of a road traffic collision on Station Road in Brampton, involving one vehicle with two people trapped inside.

A spokiesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters released the two casualties using specialist cutting equipment and handed them into the care of the ambulance service.

“Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and 10 mins.”
