Teenagers charged following Barrow v York match

A 15-year-old and a 16-year-old have been charged with offences following a football match in Barrow in September 2016.

The charges follow an incident after the Barrow against York City match on Saturday, 24 September, which saw damage caused to a mini bus transporting York City fans away from the game.

The 15-year-old has been charged with criminal damage and assault. The 16-year-old has been charged with assault. Both are from the Barrow area.

Both are due to appear at South Cumbria Youth Court on 3 February 2017.
