Car abandoned after Cleator crash

Police are investigating a road traffic collision which occurred on Saturday 21st January 2017 at approximately 9.30pm.

The collision occurred on the A5086 near to the junction of Church Street and Main Street in Cleator, Cumbria.

This collision involved one vehicle, a 2003-registered silver Ford Focus which collided with the road side furnishings causing damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.

The vehicle was left unattended at the collision scene.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed any person near to or being collected from that area at that time and appeal to anyone with information should call PC 2368 Kearns on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
