[C]umbria’s Police and Crime Commissioner Peter McCall is inviting people to come along to a public meeting in Silloth, on Tues 31 January, 7-9pm.
The meeting will be held in the Community Hall, with the aim of giving local residents and businesses the opportunity to come along and share their views about policing in the town. There will also be representatives from the local policing team present, who will be able to field questions or answer queries.
Peter McCall said: “I’ve been to Silloth on a number of occasions recently for various events, and some of the people I have met said they would value a meeting such as this to discuss policing in the town, and share their views about crime and anti-social behaviour.
“As Commissioner, a large part of my role is to listen to the public, and provide them with opportunities to have a voice – my vision is very much ‘we, not they’. I therefore encourage as many people as possible to come along and have their say.”
