Missing Merseyside man may be in Kendal

Merseyside Police is concerned for the safety of a 51-year-old missing man from Liverpool.

Ian O’Brien has been missing since 19 January when he was last seen in Walton.

Ian is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, bald with a heavy set build and has a grey stubble and glasses.

When last seen he was wearing a dark waterproof jacket, a red or white T shirt, and black tracksuit pants.

Ian is known to have frequented the Llandudno and Kendal areas

His daughter, Keeley O’Brien said: “Please let us know you are safe”.

Detective Chief Inspector Chris Sephton said: “We are very concerned that Ian has not made contact with his family as this is very unusual for him. This has caused severe distress for his family who are worried for his safety.

“I would like anyone who has seen Ian, or knows of his whereabouts to contact us.”

Anyone who has seen or spoken to Ian or knows of his current whereabouts is asked to contact the police immediately on 0151 777 6064, 101 or the Missing Persons charity on 116 000. Alternatively they can email the charity on [email protected]
