Rickerby road works likely to cause disruption

[C]umbria County Council intends to carry out resurfacing and drainage improvement works to the C1015 road that runs from Brampton road (through Rickerby) to Sawmill Cottage.

In order to carry out the works the road will need to be closed.

Parking within Rickerby Park will be restricted at times throughout the works however there will be traffic marshals posted on site to advise on this.

These works are the beginning of an Infrastructure Recovery Programme being implemented countywide due to the damage sustained by the floods caused by Storm Desmond.

The works are due to commence on Monday 6th February 2017 and are expected to take 4 weeks to carry out.
