Police appeal after West Cumbria burglaries

[P]olice are investigating a burglary at the Royal Navy Club on South Quay in Maryport.

The incident occurred at some time in between 0.15am on 24th February and 10.05am on 25th February. The offenders have gained entry and stolen a quantity of cash from within before exiting.

Enquiries are ongoing but if you noticed anyone in the vicinity during these hours or anyone acting suspiciously please contact PC Beth Potts on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police are investigating a burglary some point between the 24th February and 27th February from a garage at Our Lady’s and St Patricks School, Ennerdale Road, Maryport.

A lawnmower and strimmer was stolen.

If anybody saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area or have any information regarding the property whereabouts please call PC Matthews on 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

Police are investigating a theft from a shed in the garden of a property on Birks Road, Cleator Moor.

It occurred at some point between Wednesday 15th and Monday 27th February 2017 where a quantity of Milwaukee power tools, including spare batteries and a charger, have been stolen.

They are in a distinctive red canvas bag.

Anybody with information that may assist in recovering this property or identifying those responsible is requested to contact the police on 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers, in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
