Man hurt in Millerground fall

[A] man has been rescued after falling down banking near Windermere.

Mountain rescue and an ambulance were called at 1:53pm today, Tuesday 28 February after a 68-year-old man fell down banking on Raypigg Road, Millerground.

A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “The man is now receiving medical treatment.”
