Woman hurt in Buttermere fall

Great Borne[T]he Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Great Borne near Buttermere, where a woman, aged in her 70s had fallen and sustained a head injury.

A spokesman for GNAAS said: “The patient was flown to West Cumberland Hospital within seven minutes where she arrived in a stable condition.”
