Cyclist hurt in Kirkby Stephen crash

Kirkby Stephen 1[T]he Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called at 11:55am yesterday, Sunday 12 March to a head-on collision between a cyclist and a car.

The cyclist, a woman aged in her 40s, was assessed and treated for head and facial injuries.

She was flown to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.

Her injuries were described as non life-threatening.
