Family Fun at Moorclose

IMG_0236[A]n afternoon of free family friendly activities will be taking place at the Moorclose Community Centre in Workington on Saturday 8 April from 1 – 4pm.

The fun day will host a range of activities including sports, a bird of prey display, and springtime themed crafts. The craft section of the event will include face painting, glitter tattoos, chalk drawing, mask making, flower planting, puzzles, colouring-in, and card making.

Ulverston based performance group Matrix Circus are running a circus skills workshop which will include juggling, poi, and hula hooping.

All activities are free of charge and no booking is required. Admission is on a first come, first served basis.

The event has been organised by Workington Town Council in partnership with local charity, South Workington Youth Partnership (SWYP). The Town Council works with SWYP throughout the year to provide free activities to families in Workington.
