Man rescued from Carlisle scaffolding

[A]t 9:25am today Tuesday firefighters were called to a report of a casualty on the second storey of scaffolding on Durdar Road.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “The aerial ladder platform was brought to assist in the rescue and the casualty, a man, was brought down and handed into the care of the ambulance service.”
