Carlisle MP speaks at Barclays Brexit breakfast

[J]ohn Stevenson MP was recently invited to speak at a Barclays Brexit Breakfast Seminar about the social and political impact of Brexit.

Attendees had the opportunity to discuss the key concerns affecting local businesses and there was a Question and Answer session with those speaking at the event.

Other speakers included John Stanworth, the Head of Corporate Banking for Lancashire and Cumbria at Barclays, Alan Budenberg, the Portfolio Manager for Global Investments and Solutions at Barclays, and Nigel Wilkinson, the Managing Director of Windermere Lake Cruises.

John Stevenson MP said: “Regardless of which way we voted, we all now need to get behind the Government so that they can deliver on the decision of the referendum and reach a settlement with the EU that is in everyone’s best interests.

“Now that Article 50 has been triggered it is vital that we concentrate on our future.”
