A596 reopen after three-vehicle crash in Maryport

[P]olice were called at 11.11am today (7th April) following a three vehicle collision at Glasson Industrial Estate, Maryport.

The collision included a HGV, blue VW Passat and a sliver Toyota Yaris.

The driver of the Yaris was a 72-year-old woman from Workington. She suffered minor injuries was taken to West Cumberland Hospital.

The driver of the Passat is a 30-year-old man, from Maryport suffered no reported injuries.

The driver of the HGV was uninjured.

The road has now been reopened.
