Maryport heart attack man flown to hospital

Maryport golf heart attack gnaasThe Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to a golf course in Maryport at 11:50am on Saturday 8 April where a man in his 70s was suffering from a heart attack.

A spokesman for GNAAS said: “He was assessed and treated by the GNAAS team and North West Ambulance Service before being flown to Carlisle’s Cumberland Infirmary for further treatment.

“The flight took 13 minutes and he arrived in a stable condition.”
