Walker hurt in Scafell Pike fall

Scafell Pike gnaas walker hurt[T]he Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Scafell Pike at 3:30pm on Friday 7 April after a 21-year-old woman had fallen while walking.

A spokesman for GNAAS said: “She was assessed for a knee injury before being flown to West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven within eight minutes.”

Her injury was described as non life-threatening.
