Police appeal after Workington hate crime

[C]umbria Police are currently investigating a hate crime that occurred at approximately 8pm on Saturday 15 April 2017 outside the O2 shop in Washington Square, Workington.

The incident involved a female in her 20s being verbally abused by a group of four female youths.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at this time or who may have witnessed this incident to come forward with any information.

Anyone with information should call PC 2494 Higson on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
