Police searching for absconded prisoner

[P]olice are appealing for the public’s help to locate an absconded prisoner.

Samuel Hill, 35 escaped from HMP Kirklevington (open prison) on Monday, April 17.

He has links to South Tyneside and enquiries are being carried out by Northumbria Police to locate him.

He was serving a sentence for conspiracy to commit grievious bodily harm.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Northumbria Police immediately on 999.
