[C]ARE home residents have enjoyed a creative and colourful Easter celebration.
Bethel House, in Whitehaven, hosted the event, and Copeland mayor Mike Starkie was on hand to judge the bonnet decorating competition.
Mr Starkie said: “It was great to be invited along to Bethel House to judge the residents Easter Bonnet decorating competition.
“Clearly a lot of effort had been made by both residents and staff in organising the event and creating their colourful entries.
“I’d also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the care home on their recent CQC inspection which rated the home as “good.”
“Congratulations to all those involved and I wish them every success for the future.”
