Girl, 14, attacked in grounds of Kendal Castle

[P]olice are investigating an incident of assault which took place in the grounds of Kendal Castle at around 7pm on Friday, 21st April 2017.

The victim, a 14-year-old girl from the Kendal area, was assaulted by several teenagers within the castle and at the exit to the castle grounds.

The offenders threw stones at the victim, punched her to the face and kicked her to the legs during the assault, which lasted for several minutes.

Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who can provide further information, to contact PC 2386 Norman by telephoning 101 or email [email protected].
