[P]olice are appealing for witnesses following an assault on Cavendish Street in Barrow town centre at around 2.30am on Friday 28th April.
The victim, a 33 year old man from Rochdale, was repeatedly punched to the face and body, leaving him with facial injuries and a dislocated shoulder, for which he had to receive emergency medical treatment.
The suspect is described as a heavily-built white male in his late twenties to early thirties, with a shaved head, full beard and a distinctive tattoo on the back of his neck.
