[M]issing Callum Davidson has been found safe and well after being spotted by a member of the public who read the police media appeal.
Callum Davidson, 12, was staying at a week-long activity camp in Dukes House wood near to Gallows Bank in Hexham when he was reported missing at around 5.15pm.
He had got into an argument with another child at the camp and was seen by fellow children leaving in the direction of the woods with his backpack at around 3.50pm.
A spokesman for Northumbia Police said: “Thank you to the media and the public who shared the appeal and assisted our officers with their investigation.
“Callum has now be reunited with his relieved mam and dad and the police resources in the area stood down.”
