[A] MAN whose dog injured a woman in a Carlisle street was warned he could receive a prison sentence.
Aaron Lee Wildey, 34, appeared before a judge at the city’s crown court today (TUES). He admitted being the owner of a Dogue de Bordeaux – named Titan – which injured Lisa Fell while dangerously out of control in a public place.
She is said to have suffered a leg wound during the incident at Manor Place, in Upperby, on September 11 last year.
Recorder David Swinnerton adjourned the case for the preparation of background information. He noted Wildey, of Manor Place, had a previous conviction for a similar offence.
Unconditional bail was granted, and Wildey is due to be punished on June 16.
But he was told by Recorder Swinnerton that all sentencing options – including a prison term – would be considered on that date.
