Three rescued from Carlisle Cathedral roof

At 9:08pm yesterday, Wednesday 17 May firefighters were called to Carlisle Cathedral after three people had climbed up scaffolding and couldn’t get down.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “The crew used ladders to get the three down from the building.”
