Maryport man arrested after offensive Tweet

twitter logo[I]n the early hours of this morning (26 May), Cumbria Constabulary arrested an 36-year-old man from Maryport on suspicion of a public order offence – inciting racial hatred.

The arrest followed a report from a member of the public regarding a social media post published on Twitter yesterday evening (25 May).

The man is currently in police custody.
