Appeal after woman abused in Longtown

[P]olice are appealing for information following an incident in Longtown where a woman was subjected to verbal abuse by a group of male teenagers, aged between 14 and 17, and a branch was also thrown at her.

The offence occurred on 10th May between 3.30pm and 3.45pm on Moor Road, Longtown. The suspects were sat in the green shelter at the layby near to Longtown Medical Centre and the fire station.

The woman was uninjured, but understandably shaken by the ordeal. One of the male suspects had a scooter/moped with him.
