Appeal after woman grabbed on Carlisle street

[P]OLICE are investigating an assault that occurred around 8:30am on Tuesday 6 June 2017 in the Scotch Street/Drovers Lane area of Carlisle.

A woman walking to work has been approached by an unknown man. He has then grabbed her by the shoulders and accused the woman of staring at him.

He is described as between 50 to 60 years of age and was wearing a black hooded top and black trousers, grey speckled hair and a false eye.

Anybody with information that may assist in identifying this man is asked to contact the police referencing incident number 46 of 6 June 2017.
