[S]et to welcome in thousands across the weekend of the Lowther Show, this August’s Lowther Horse Driving Trials is as popular as ever as developments get underway for this year’s headline attraction.

Taking place over the weekend of 12th and 13th August, the Lowther Horse Driving Trials will once again play host to the Dressage, Cross-Country Marathon and Cones driving, with all three disciplines marked and judged as drivers and their steeds tackle the tricky courses.

For years, the Horse Driving Trials at Lowther has proved a huge success and is a big part of the Lowther Show and its history. With only the most talented drivers competing in the prestigious event, and with precision, speed and accuracy all marked to the highest of standards, the Trials remain as competitive as ever, providing for some the ultimate test in Driving, and of course, making for superb viewing for visitors to this August’s northern attraction.
