Police probe Carlisle car fire

police crime scene[P]olice are investigating an arson to a blue Peugeot 206.

The incident occurred at approximately 23:20 on Wednesday 14th June 2017 on Balfour Road, Carlisle.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews from Carlisle West, one wearing a breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to put out the vehicle fire, which was well alight on arrival.

“Police also attended the incident.”

Police are looking for witnesses in relation to this incident. Anyone with information should call PC 2439 LYNN on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
