Fraser Cant, Associate Chief Operating Officer for Medicine and Emergency Care, says, “The Trust is very interested in co-production opportunities that involve a patient centred approach across both our hospitals. We are continually looking for ways to improve the cancer experience both for patients and their families who are undergoing care and treatment for us.
On the 22 June at 6pm in the Education Centre at West Cumberland Hospital we are holding our second Cancer Services Listening Event. We want to hear from patients and their families about what we are doing right and what we could be doing better.
The feedback from patients in our most recent Two Minutes of Your Time survey shows that listening to patients and their feedback improves the patient experience.”
North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust provides cancer care to thousands of patients and families across the county with dedicated teams at the Cumberland Infirmary and West Cumberland Hospital.
