[T]he BBC Antiques Roadshow, which was filmed at Holker Hall in July last year, is scheduled to be transmitted this Sunday, 25th June at 8pm.

The gardens and grounds at Holker provided a wonderful backdrop for the filming. Jillian Rouse, Head of Visitor Services said: “Many local people brought along their treasures and family heirlooms to the Antiques Roadshow’s team of over 30 experts which included many of Britain’s leading antiques and fine arts specialists. It was a great day with lots of interesting stories and some unusual items. It was also fascinating to see behind the scenes of such a popular programme.”

Holker are looking at holding an Antiques Fair in the Hall next March, further details to follow.
