98 vehicles stopped in Carlisle rural crime crackdown

police-rtc-night[C]arlisle Police have carried out a rural crime operation tonight, creating road blocks and pulling over vehicles at two locations.

A spokesman fro Cumbria Police said: “98 vehicles have been stopped and checked and 7 offences identified including driving with no insurance, possession of cannabis and seat belt offences.”
