[C]umbria’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Peter McCall, is inviting people to go along and share their views about policing in Cumbria. He will be available at the Police Desk in the Library at Alston, between 10am – 12 noon on Wednesday 28 June.
Meeting the public regularly to listen to their views on policing is a significant responsibility for the Commissioner and Peter McCall is keen to make sure that communities get the opportunity to meet him.
Peter McCall explains “I am really keen to speak to as many people as possible across the county, as I have found it a really valuable experience in the past, and helps give me a real feel for what people are feeling and experiencing out in our communities.
“Holding surgeries such as these is just one of the ways that I plan to interact with members of the public, and I urge people to take the opportunity to come along for a chat. I really want to get out in the community to see for myself the issues and how policing can help.”
No appointment is necessary.
