[T]WO partners-in-crime who plundered property from sheds in Egremont have each been jailed for 10 months.
Stephen Lawrence Flinn, 37, and 45-year-old David Robert Harrison went on an early morning crime spree in neighbouring Kings Drive and Royal Drive on April 4. They removed a host of items, including gardening equipment and tools.
But when police received reports of two “prowlers” from a concerned householder they swooped on one shed, catching the pair red-handed inside.
The Egremont duo were said to have been “intoxicated” at the time of their arrests, and later stated they had little recollection of their criminal activity.
Flinn, of Royal Drive, later pleaded guilty to four burglary charges and Harrison, of The Hollies, admitted three.
Both men were sentenced at Carlisle Crown Court today (THURS). Recorder David Potter told them they had “deliberately targeted” the sheds.
