Whitehaven teenager found safe after Cleator Moor crash

[T]he driver of a car who went missing after a collision in Cleator Moor has been found safe and well.

Police were called at 3:39am today (30th June) to a report of a blue Nissan Micra on its side, on the B5295 at Cleator Moor.

The car was damaged and no one was with the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was believed to be Davie Barwise, aged 18, from Whitehaven.

A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “Davie Barwise, who had been reported as missing, has been located safe and well.

“Police would like to thank everyone for their assistance.”
