Firefighters tackle Moresby Parks blaze

[A]t 2:03pm today, Thursday 6 July firefighters were called to Joe McBain Avenue, Moresby Parks, after a diesel generator inside a industrial unit caught fire.

Crews, two from Whitehaven and one from Workington, attended the incident.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “The firefighters, two wearing breathing apparatus, used a thermal imaging camera, a hose reel jet and a powder fire extinguisher to tackle the blaze.”
