[A] KENDAL man accused of assaulting his dad will go on trial later this year.
Six charges were put to David Milne, 21, when he appeared at Carlisle Crown Court earlier today (FRI).
Milne pleaded not guilty to the alleged common assault of Andrew Milne – his father – and also allegations of damaging property and affray.
He further denied two charges which alleged that he assaulted a male and female, occasioning actual bodily harm, and denied making a threat to kill the same female.
All of the charges relate to alleged incidents on April 1 this year.
Milne sat in the dock as a timetable for the case was agreed during the short hearing in front of Judge Barbara Forrester.
A trial, estimated to last around three days, was listed for the week of October 9.
In the meantime, Milne, of Castle Street, Kendal, was granted conditional bail by Judge Forrester.
