[A]t 6:03pm yesterday 6 July firefighters were called to kitchen fire at a house on Norfolk Street, Barrow-in-Furness.
Two fire engines from Barrow and one from Walney attended the incident which involved a deep fat fryer.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire was out on arrival and crews ventilated the property naturally.
“One woman was suffering from smoke inhalation so crews gave her oxygen until paramedics arrived.
“Crews were on scene for approximately 30 minutes.”
