Whitehaven boy, 14, arrested after Morrisons “bomb threat”

[A] teenager has been arrested in connection with an incident at Morrisons in Whitehaven.

An evacuation was conducted by store management yesterday (10th July) following contact by an anonymous caller stating that there was a bomb in the store.

The store was searched by specially trained officers and no suspicious items were found.

Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy, from Whitehaven, following enquiries conducted as part of a malicious communications investigation.
