Teenager rescued from Appleby cattle grid

[A]t 7:46pm yesterday, Thursday 13 July firefighters were called to Breaks Hall, Heights near Appleby, after a teenager became stuck in a cattle grid.

A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews, from Appleby, used Holmatro spreaders to release the teenager.”
