[F]ollowing a stabbing on July 14 in Carlisle, Stephen Paul Taylor, 52, of Pennine Way, Harraby, has appeared at the magistrates court in Carlisle, charged with making threats to kill, grievous bodily harm with intent and criminal damage.
The allegations relate to an incident in a property on Pennine Way, Harraby on Friday evening, the court was told the victim is a 77-year-old man, during a short hearing Taylor only spoke to confirm his name and address.
No plea was given and District Judge Gerald Chalk remanded Taylor in custody to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on August 14.
