Police appeal after Longtown ‘hate crime’

[P]olice are investigating a hate-motivated incident in Longtown on Friday 14th July 2017 at approximately 6pm.

The incident has occurred near to Longtown Primary School and the female victim – who is in her 20s – has been verbally abused and threatened which put her in fear.

The suspects were sat in the shelter outside of the school and are described as white males in the late teens to early twenties with short brown hair and around 5ft 8ins tall. One is described as wearing a light grey hooded top.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information. Please contact police referencing incident 207 of 14 July 2017.
