[A]t 6:18pm yesterday, Tuesday 18 July firefighters were called to Wigton Road, Silloth to a fire involving a bungalow.
Fire engines from Aspatria, Wigton and Maryport attended along with the aerial platform and support pump from Carlisle East and a water bowser and support pump from Penrith.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival the crews found a fire involving the roof of a single storey bungalow and used three hose reels to extinguish the flames.
“All persons were accounted for and a thermal imaging camera was used to check the property.
“The crews were on scene for approximately three hours and 40 minutes.”
