John Stevenson MP to discuss flood plans with Environment Agency

[C]arlisle MP, John Stevenson, will be meeting with Andy Brown, the Flood Risk Manager for Cumbria at the Environment Agency.

The meeting will be to discuss the potential options to manage flood risk in Carlisle. John will also be highlighting a number of issues that have been raised with him by his constituents.

John said: “Managing flood risk is a priority for Carlisle. I will use this meeting as a chance to communicate the concerns of my constituents to the Environment Agency.”

“I am keen to learn of the progress of the Environment Agency’s work since I met with them last and their plans for future work in an attempt to prevent future flooding in our city.”

The meeting is taking place on the 26th July 2017.
