Police searching for missing County Durham man

[A]N APPEAL has been launched to find a missing man from County Durham.

Carl Taylor, 44, left his home in Roker Close, Darlington, at some point overnight yesterday (Thursday) and this morning.

He is described as 5ft 4ins tall of stocky build. He has ash blonde hair and is clean shaven.

He is believed to be wearing a white England rugby top and jeans.

Mr Taylor has left home without any means to support himself.

Inspector Caroline Shields said: “We are appealing to the public to keep an eye out for Mr Taylor and if you believe you have seen him please contact us straight away.

“This is completely out of character and we are concerned for his welfare.”

Anyone who believes they have seen Mr Taylor or know his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 84 of August 4.
