[A] MAN was warned he is likely to be jailed for committing a drugs supply crime in Carlisle.
James Joseph Disley, 26, admitted one offence when he appeared, via video link, at the city’s crown court today (FRI).
Disley pleaded guilty to possessing heroin, with intent to supply the class A drug to another, on July 7. This is said to relate to an incident at a Carlisle filling station.
Recorder David Potter adjourned the case until September 8, and asked for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Disley, of Edenhurst Avenue, Liverpool, was remanded in custody until that date.
He was told by Recorder Potter: “Please don’t read anything into the fact that a pre-sentence report has been ordered.
“This is most likely to result in an immediate custodial sentence.”
