Friends attacked after night out in Carlisle

[P]olice are investigating an assault on Warwick Road in Carlisle at approximately 2.10am near to The Halston.

A group of friends walking home from a night out were assaulted by another group men.

Two of the men in the first group sustained minor facial injuries and one was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary with a cut to his face.

The suspects are described as white men in their early 20s who were walking up Warwick Road towards the city centre

Anyone with information should contact police referencing incident 16 of 11 August 2017.
