[S]tudents at the Ofsted rated Good Richard Rose Sixth Form are celebrating today after receiving their A Level results.
Alongside some notable individual successes, the Sixth Form saw an increase in the proportion of the top grades with a third of results awarded A*-B.

Amongst those taking up places at University, Ben Carrick will be going to study Maths at Newcastle University, Carl Graham will be studying Computer Science with Games Development at Northumbria University; and Natalie Hill and Sarah Osborne will be going to study Applied Psychology at the University of Cumbria.
Ben Carrick from Harraby, Carlisle (aged 18) said: “I am really pleased with my results. I have really enjoyed the last two years at Richard Rose Sixth Form. Central Academy has changed so much in the time I have been here and I would like to thank the teachers for all the support they have given me. I am really excited about going to Newcastle University to study Maths in September.”
